Data Deletion

How to delete your data.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. This page tells you how to ask, what we delete, and how long it takes.

Last updated 17 August 2026

What we hold about you

We hold your account details. This is your e-mail address, your first name, your last name and the date you made the account.

If you signed in with Google, Microsoft or Facebook, we also hold the account identifier that the provider gave us. We do not hold your password for that provider.

If we build or look after a website for you, we also hold the contact details and the content that you sent us for that work.

The privacy notice gives the full detail.

How to ask us to delete your data

Send a message to [email protected].

Write these three things in the message:

  • The words data deletion request.
  • The e-mail address of your account.
  • The sign-in method you use. This is a password, or Google, or Microsoft, or Facebook.

Send the message from the e-mail address of your account if you can. This helps us confirm that the account is yours.

We do not charge for this.

What happens next

  1. We confirm that we received your request.
  2. We check that the account is yours. We can ask you for more information to do this. We ask only for what we need.
  3. We delete your data.
  4. We tell you when the deletion is complete.

We answer your request in one month. This is the time limit in UK data protection law.

What we delete

  • Your account and your name.
  • Your e-mail address.
  • Your password hash.
  • The account identifier from Google, Microsoft or Facebook.
  • Your sign-in sessions. This signs you out of every device.
  • Your e-mail verification codes and password reset links.

This deletion is permanent. We cannot get the data back and you cannot sign in again.

What we must keep

The law does not let us delete everything. We keep these records:

DataWe keep it forWhy
Records of work and payment6 years after the end of the tax yearUK tax law requires this
Server request logsUp to 30 daysThey hold no personal data and they delete themselves

We use these records for tax and accounts only. We do not use them to contact you.

If you signed in with Facebook, Google or Microsoft

Two separate systems hold data. Ours, and the sign-in provider's. You must deal with each one.

To delete the data we hold, send us the request above. This is the only way.

To stop the provider sharing data with us, remove our app from your account with the provider:

  • Facebook: Settings and privacy > Settings > Apps and websites
  • Google: Google Account > Data and privacy > Third-party apps
  • Microsoft: Microsoft account > Privacy > Apps and services

Read this carefully. If you remove our app at the provider, you stop future sign-in. You do not delete the data that we already hold. Send us the request as well.

If we are building a website for you

Tell us in your message if you want us to delete the content of your project as well.

If we delete your account while your website is live, we cannot continue the work. Speak to us first. We can agree what to do with your website before we delete your data.

Your other rights

You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct data that is wrong. The privacy notice lists all of your rights.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, tell us first. We try to put the problem right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
